The client portal, and why we do not email documents

A secure area for uploading documents, signing returns and pulling up anything we have prepared for you. Existing clients get access at their first appointment.

  • Upload documents

Drop in a receipt, a statement or a contract without it travelling as an email attachment. Photos from a phone are fine and are what most people send.

  • Sign returns electronically

Returns, activity statements and trust distribution resolutions are signed in the portal. Nothing needs printing, and the signed copy stays in your file.

  • Pull up anything we have prepared

Every return, financial statement and activity statement we have lodged for you, back to the year we started acting. Lenders and brokers ask for these constantly.

  • See your own dates

Your lodgement dates, including the agent concession dates, rather than the generic ones. Fixed-fee clients can also book an evening or early-morning call here.

The alternative. Still welcome, but the portal is easier on everyone.

01How we handle it

Four things worth knowing

  • Nothing sensitive travels by email attachment, in either direction
  • Documents are held for the five years the records rules require, then disposed of securely
  • Access is granted per person, so a bookkeeper can be given the file without being given the tax returns
  • We will never ring and ask you to read out a tax file number or a bank login
