02 Monthly
Bookkeeping and payroll
Coded, reconciled books every month, with payroll and Single Touch Payroll filed on time.
Bank feeds are coded and reconciled monthly, supplier bills matched to what actually arrived, and payroll run for you with Single Touch Payroll reported to the ATO on each pay run. Superannuation is calculated, scheduled and reported before the quarterly due date rather than the week after. You get a short monthly summary in plain English: what came in, what went out and what is sitting unpaid.

02How it runs
Four steps, in this order
Typical turnaround: Ongoing, monthly. You are told which step we are on, without having to ask.
- 01 Free review of your existing file before we quote
- 02 Clean up the chart of accounts and any historical mess
- 03 Set the monthly rhythm: feeds coded, payroll run, summary sent
- 04 Quarterly check-in against the forecast
03Asked often
Before you ring
If your question is not here, it is probably on the FAQ page, and if it is not there either, ring and ask.
Do I have to change accounting software?
No. We work in whatever cloud file you already have. If your file is in poor shape we will say so and quote the clean-up, but changing software for its own sake costs you money and teaches your staff nothing.
Can you take over payroll partway through a financial year?
Yes. We reconcile the year-to-date figures already reported before the first pay run we do, so the end-of-year finalisation still balances.
What do you need from me each month?
Bank feeds do most of it. We need photos or emailed copies of anything paid in cash, and a quick answer on anything we cannot identify. Most clients spend under twenty minutes a month on us.
